ORNAMIN trains

As a medium-sized family company the training of young talents is of high importance for us. We believe that qualified and committed people can sustainably secure the future. This is why we early offer the opportunity to work independently in the „real business“ during the apprenticeship. Thereby we do not only focus on grades but personality, commitment and passion are at least equally important for us.

ORNAMIN N. Peper

I’ve always been interested in technology. After school, I first did an internship in the production of Ornamin and then started my apprenticeship as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology. Plastic is a very exciting material that can be used in many different ways. Moreover I like being part of a team.

ORNAMIN Frederik Zelle

I decided to study at Ornamin in a practice-oriented way because I can put the knowledge I learned in theory directly into practice. Ornamin offers me the opportunity to participate responsibly in the company and to prove myself in my own projects. Furthermore I get the chance to develop myself professionally as well as personally.

Frederik Zelle, student industrial engineering

ORNAMIN M. Schaper

My time at Ornamin began with an internship. Immediately I was warmly welcomed and noticed the good working atmosphere. Now, during my apprenticeship, I particularly appreciate the fact that the company enables me to work very independently right from the start, that it offers a lot of trust and cooperativeness and that I am allowed to participate in various areas. I am looking forward to all the experiences I will gather here in the coming years.

ORNAMIN K. Wolff

After my first apprenticeship as a banker, I came to Ornamin as a „career changer” and immediately felt comfortable. The apprentices are given a lot of trust right from the start and get responsibility at an early stage. I think that’s great. I also like the good working atmosphere and the varied tasks.

Katharina Wolff, industrial management assistant

ORNAMIN T. Droste

Some time ago I did my internship from school at Ornamin. I had so much fun that I applied for an apprenticeship here. At Ornamin, I particularly like the fact that I quickly learn many new things through a lot of personal responsibility and that I have a lot of fun, especially with the other younger colleagues.

„Apprentice-company“ at ORNAMIN

Take on responsibility at an early stage

The apprenticeship at ORNAMIN is of special quality. In addition to the regular apprenticeship at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce the apprentices are organised in an own „apprentice-company“.

Whether consultation of customers in the factory outlet, preparation of exhibitions or online projects – here the ORNAMIN youngsters learn how to make their own decisions, to organise their own company, to manage budgets and thereby get a better impression of the corporate everyday life and the diverse tasks. There are virtually no limits, the apprentices lead the way and report directly to the managing director.

Factory outlet

During their apprenticeship our apprentices look after the factory outlet at ORNAMIN within the project „apprentice-company“. This project offers them the opportunity to get an impression of all departments of a company – from the accounting and marketing to customer service and sales.
